You're memory is doing great Bill! Just this past week, a poster descovered the perverbial third brake light leaking into his cab.

I think all the replies has this covered for the poster.

Just got my 06 back from the dealership. I had the same problem. The channel where all the wiring is was full of water and the insulation under the pass side was soaked. Went and checked on it on day 2 and they had the pass fender off and found a seam that was not sealed. My friend runs the body shop and said this is the first F150 he's seen with a leak, but Ford as a whole has lots of these issues. Just made it under the 3/36 warranty. I can give you more info if you need it

This is a common problem on our trucks. Mine had it when I bought it. The dealer checked the 3rd brake light, windshield seal, rear window seal and A/C plenum seal and none were the cause of the infamous leak. I had water after a rain or when I washed the truck (not coolant) collecting on the passenger side floor even when I hadn't run the A/C. Theres a TSB on this issue, heres the info ... hope this solves your problem. Print this TSB below and take it to the dealer which is what I had to do. This is a KNOWN issue and IS covered under warranty !

Good Luck,

Well I have an 06, and noticed the same problem with the passengers front carpet being wet..Went to the dealer they said everything was fine and I must have spilled somthing...Went to another dealer theres a tsb about the ac drain tube being to short on certain models....long story short after a week they put in a new carpet, (old one had mold on it) and fixed the drain. Hope this helps.

i just seen today where the water is coming from. i pulled my entire dash out to paint it and had to run to the store today and i could see the water pouring out (and i mean POURING!) I bought some silicone so i'll just fill it myself. but now im worried about that water just sitting there and rusting whatever its sitting on. i'll put a picture up later so everyone can see where its coming from.

I'm interested as I have the same problem in an 06 that isn't under warranty so I will have to do it myself. Thanks!

Ford did the silicone thing on mine but I still had a leak. It turned out to be a seam that wasn't sealed. What they found was a seam on the cowl. If you look under the hood back in the right corner right where the antenna comes thru, you will see a seam a little outside of the hood hinge. That was my problem. I can only assume mine can't be the only 06 someone missed. I was fortunate to have a good dealership which took the time to make sure the problem was resolved. I doesn't look to hard to do, mainly pulling off the fender. Most of the seam is visible past the fender.

One Question are these all SCabs? Because my friend has a SCab and he's got the same issue. I have a SCrew and haven't had that problem.
