I traded my Harley for an 06 F-150 4X4 and was going through the glove box and discovered the previous owner had purchased a the best warranty Ford offers. Does anyone know if this transfers to the new owner?

I am quite sure that it can be transferred for a small fee. However, it also wouldn't surprise me if the prior owner canceled the warrenty and received a partial refund. I would assume a dealer can assist with determining if that happened as well as with a transfer if available. I would assume the prior owner must sign off on a transfer, but again that is just speculation on my part.

I have seen warranties transfer to other cars before. I would call the dealer and/or Ford to see what they say.

I checked with the dealer today and he said I can transfer for $50 if the previous owner gives his written permission. Looks like a go!
