warranty
Now don't get me wrong i love my fords.I've owned 2 vans and 4 trucks in the last 40 years.But if fords are so good why do thy have such a louse warrnty.Three years are 36000 miles.I drive 20 thousand miles a year. I get a year and half on my warranty. Lets not go to that extened warranty because if fords are so good thy could at least make it 3 years and 60thousand miles.

my guess is that chevy and dodge had to do something "extra" because of their bad financial woes. the extra warranty is what i like to call a "gotcha gimmick". it got so bad for dodge that i had a buddy go to one of their dealerships, showed some interest in a truck, then started to back out, the salesman instantly dropped $15,000 off the price of the truck. now what does that say about the resale value of the ram truck? just my .02
