Well i also was thinking about this. The lug nuts on my wheels are pretty big (wide and long). Will they fit through the holes in the spacers/adapters, and will my wheel still be able to slide on after the adapters are put on. Im thinking my lug nuts wont sit flush with the spacer so they will protrude, and my wheel wont be able to slide on flush with the spacer

See, my "spacers" are technically adapters, 6x135 to 6x135 w/ 1.5" space. True spacers arent a good idea as you actually end up using less thread on the lug even though the nuts get "sinched" down tight. I broke a few off on my 72 chevy this way (while going down the hwy). W/ the adapters, you gain the spacing you want, and still maintain safety.

Of course. I had to "shave" some of the factory bolts cuz they stuck out of my 1.5" still, making the rim sit on the factory lug tip. I put a nut on, then took my grinder and just took off the tip (less than a 1/4") then backed the nut off to clean the threads. Havent had a problem with them and they have been on for over 15K now.

I think you are confused as to what I am trying to say... let me go home after work, take my rim off and show you exactly what I mean... pictures clear everything up.
