Hey all

What is the best magnaflow exhaust for our 5.4? I really like the deep sound and definitely no popping sounds. I'd appreciate some videos or sound clips of what you got!

Thanks for the interest! You'll find no shortage of sound clips on the web, although those always come with the caveat that you'll really only get the full effect by hearing an exhaust in person. That said, you're right on about the deep sound and usually not popping sounds or overrun without giving up straight-through performance.

We do make a number of cat-backs with different pipe and exit configurations, though. Because the fitment on the F-150 has a lot to do with the options and the bed length, can I ask what year, trim, and bed/cab length you have? I can get some part numbers or you can actually use our revamped exhaust system search here.

I went with the 18" magna flow and love it. I get compliments on it all the time.

I have the Magnaflow 16518 catback and I really like it. It doesn't give a bad drone on the highway, but makes noise when I want it to.

Does the magnaflow 16518 exit behind the passenger rear wheel? Seen some sites state yes and others just state rear exit
