I'm looking for some brighter bulbs to put in my spyder projector housings. My question to all of you is should I go hid?or led? And what is your reasoning. Thanks.

I'm leaning towards a kit from opt7 35w 6k hid kit. I've seen a few guys on here running hids in their spyder headlights with good results but nothing on leds

Lol yea I'm in need of some opinions on this subject I finally found 1 video on YouTube of leds in a projector they don't look to bad. Probably don't throw as far as hids tho. I found a set of leds that have diodes on three sides would this be the best option? Also opt7 makes a pretty nice looking led kit as well and it got good reviews

I can't compare. I can tell you I've never had a problem with opti7 and HIDs require a slight warm up time LEDs don't. If your lights flash when you lock your truck is hard on the HIDs but not the LEDs. I believe the HIDs are further along than LEDs but LEDs are catching up fast.
