PHP family emergencies over the last 6 months have been...well, almost unbelievable.

Sister, father, and grandmother all passing in less than 6 months.

If you don't want the real time display, I'm sure the SCT with VMP tunes will do an excellent job for you.

That is the real advantage of the gryphon. It is also something I wish I did have.

Its unfortunate that he choose to use death as an excuse for the last 6 months. EVERYBODY has to deal with it. But you dont continue to except orders and expect people to wait that much time. That is BS. When my father died I got 3 days off of work...

Well i would love to have the realtime info that the Gryphon gives but im still not sure because of the lack of communication from them ober the last three months. I do feel bad about everythign that has happened but i feel three months is enought time to get to an email wiht simple questions. So ill ask the gryphon owners here. What is the usualy turnaround for PHP on custom tunes? How is the product and performance? Hows is the customer service under normal circumstances?

That is my thinking as well.... While i do have some sympathy as i have been there before, it is ultimatly a business and you have to run it as one. Keeping your customers happy is what keeps you around.

Depending on how you look at it, having your own business sometimes gives you the "advantage" of being able to take more than 3 days off. Were you the owner of the company when you gave your self 3 days off?

I have posted several times in the PHP forum and generally get very quick responses as I do here. I am going to wait until the summer to order custom tunes from them because like we have pointed out they are a bit behind schedule. Under normal circumstances, I have seen people on the forum wait 1-3 months to get their tuner and custom tunes back. Not sure how it works if you purchase a gryphon from them though. I am going to have to send my edge in and have it converted. (On a side note, I love my edge! I had Superchip Flashpaq before this and edge is easily 5x better)

I agree, their turn around time is what has kept me from sending my tuner in. However, eventually I will have to give in and send my tuner to them and play the waiting game. You have to take into consideration the amount of people that have waited, and even after months of waiting, they end up happy. It all comes down to how long you are willing to wait.

If you are not in any rush, I would get your order for the gryphon and custom tunes in now. Hopefully by summer, you will get it lol. Be prepared to wait until june/july probably. If it comes sooner, good, if not, you wont be as angry or frustrated. Just my thoughts

I just want to make sure that no one thinks I'm bashing Bill, PHP, or anybody who loves their gryphon. I just find it really hard to believe in the age of computers we are in they, cant even set a simple out of office reply if they cant get to your email or they are gone on family business. I'm was literally begging them to take $430 from me for their products. I just want a good reliable tuner with good reliable support. SO back to my original question who has a troyer or VPM SCT and what do you think about it?
