Default (Video) Driver door lock drops before I can open

I have a 2008 f150 STX 4x4 with power doors and windows. When I open the door using the keypad the door halfway unlocks and will not open. The passenger door can be unlocked this way, but the driver door does not unlock. I can still open the door from the inside as well. What is wrong with this thing. It also doesn't always do this. Could it be a door lock actuator? I have already taken the door panel off and everything appears to function as normal, but I went ahead and sprayed some lithium grease into the lock mechanism. What is the problem?

Does unlocking the truck with the key fob make a difference, or the key? Or does the door only give you trouble with the keypad?

A weak actuator would make sense.

it does the same thing no matter if it's the interior lock buttons (driver and passenger), door keypad, or fob.

I don't think the indicator is the problem because when I take the panel off the door it still does the same thing. And everything looks to be free moving inside.

Everything also looks straight as far as the rods go.

I'm leaning towards the weak actuator, I'm just curious why sometimes it works and others it doesn't.

Hose out the (unplugged) actuator with brake cleaner. The grease they put in the lock and the window motors gets stuff in it and becomes conductive, taking power away from the solenoid/motor. Or just buy a new one.

Can you use a key to unlock this type of outside door handle (keypad option)? If so, does that function properly? If it does, it would tell you that the fault is in the power door actuator, and not with any of the rods or mechanical part of the door mechanism.
