If it's not coming from the front of the heads, it's possible it's a bad cam follower or a collapsed lifter.
Yeah its coming from the far back side. It gets louder the further back yuu go on the fuel rail.

Wow that sound IS bad!

Low oil pressure from a clogged oil pump pick up tube? Clears up completely when revved.. ??

The gear like ratcheting rattle sound I hear when the sound is just about to clear up is whats most concerning.. I might even think the torque converter.. Have you guys tried seeing if putting the Trans in neutral has a difference..

It is the tick tone of a bad phaser and set of chains, but that ratcheting sound when it clears up sounds like its coming from the back.

I'd definitely drop the oil pan and take a look with a sound like that..

That's what I'm thinking now too. It's weird, because it runs perfect. It's only when its warm and you shift from drive to reverse. You hear a clicking noise, but to get it to make the noise in the video, you have to play around with the rpms...?

I forgot to mention the sound in the video is when the truck is neutral.

So your thinking it is transmission related?

If the truck runs mint otherwise, and the problem can only be created through shifting then I would suspect the flywheel/flex plate or the TC..
