Default Vibration when accelerating up hill

On occasion, I can feel a vibration when my truck is shifting up to accelerate. This seems to only happen while going up a grade. I can feel the vibration in my seat so that's making me lean towards the driveshaft/differentials? I do have an edge evolution on my truck in the level 2 setting. With that being said, I did notice something that had me scratching my head when I first programmed it. The edge originally showed 3.73 gears in my truck whereas the code on my door shows 2.55 gears. Every time I programmed my truck, I changed the gear ration to the 2.55s because I was afraid of something happening. Now I am starting to wonder if my door is wrong and I do in fact have 3.73s and that is the reason for the vibrations. Thoughts anyone?

Try replacing your U-joints if you have the shaft where they're replaceable. They're about $10 each.

Are you sure your gear ratio is 2.55 and not 3.55? Typically the available ratios are 3.55 and 3.73.

You can confirm by looking at your vehicle sticker (typically in the drivers side door jam) and look for the AXLE (Axle Code).

19 - 3.55 Non-LS
18 - 3.08 Non-LS
H9 - 3.55 LS
B6 - 3.73 LS

If the engine is missing a little going up a hill it's likely your spark plugs. This happened on my truck, usually on on-ramps while accelerating.

Sorry that's what I meant haha. I accidentally typed a 2 instead of a 3. I got the 3.55 ratio off of my door jam.

I had my spark plugs go out on me last year. This is a different feeling from those.

My 04 4x4 Supercab has the staked u-joints that can't be replaced (or at least not easily).

I will likely buy a new driveshaft when my u-joints go.
