Default Vibration unless road completely smooth

First post. Did some searching but couldn't find anything that applied. I bought an 04 in August and have been experiencing vibrations while driving unless the road is completely smooth. At time of purchase the dealer put on new tires and I had them rotated and balanced about a month. The problem was occurring before that though.

If I hit a bump, the truck vibrates then will settle in time. However, if the road is not completely smooth, it's almost constant vibration. This is my first truck and it may be just the type of ride. Is this normal? Any thoughts/advice? Thanks.

After crawling around under the truck and inspecting everything I couldn't find anything obvious. So, I took it to a local dealer and they said everything looks "good and tight." They felt the vibration on a test drive and said my only option is to install a $600 (plus labor) frame dampner. I was a little shocked. I even asked if new, non-stock shocks would help. Of course they said no. I guess that's the way it will be. Thanks again for the insight.
