Default Vibration/Rattle in steering wheel over bumps

When driving down a rough road or going over some bumps I can feel a rattle/vibration in the steering wheel coming from the drivers side. I can tell it's only from up/down motion, not side to side play in the steering. To me it feels like a ball joint or control arm bushing. I've taken it in to 2 different shops and they can't find anything loose and the alignment is dead on. I've even taken it in to my buddies shop and shook the front end down myself and can't pinpoint it. It's an 06' Screw with a 6" lift. And in the past 6 months I've replaced both hub assemblies, struts/springs, and stabilizer links. And the previous owner replaced both upper and lower ball joints/control arms 2 years ago. The tires have plenty of tread on them, and there's no unusual wear occurring. Could it possibly be a bad u joint on the steering shaft? Any ideas/input on what it could be would be greatly appreciated..... It's driving me nuts!!!!
