Default Vibration in gas pedal and steering wheel

Hey folks!!!

I get a light vibration (not a shake or a shimmy) in my steering wheel and my gas pedal at about 40 MPH and it disappears at 45 MPH. It comes back at 60 MPH and then disappears again.

I also notice it when im on the highway on Cruise Control and the truck accelerates slightly to maintain speed...

ANY IDEAS??!!!

The vibration sounds like it could be coming from your driveshaft, was it reclocked? Your up 6 inches? Or more?

Wheel balance issues tend to come and go with changes in speed

Yeah I have a 6" Pro Comp Lift with 35 tires.

I did get this type of vibration before the lift, but only when I set my EVO to Level 2.

I set it to Level 1 (trans only) today and it seems to have subsided a little bit.

The only way I corrected it before was to set my EVO back to factory settings. (Cant do that now because I need to have it set to one of the three programs in order to keep my tire size adjustments.)

I always thought that a drive shaft vibration would have been more noticeable. This is kind of a light buzzing in the steering wheel at 40 MPH and the same upon slight acceleration around 60 MPH.

What do ya think? There's a product Pro Comp sells to rectify this, no?

D.

how far are your splines apart in the rear? you may just need a fabtech driveshaft spacer, not sure of any place else that sells just the spacer.
