Default vibration, box shakes etc

Have a '06 and it's annoying to drive at highway speed because it vibrates so much...I look in the mirrors and the box is shaking and rattleling up and down. I had an alignment done didn't help at all.
Also has a driveline vibration just when you take off after a full stop.
This thing just a POS or what?

I had bad vibration but had road force balance done on my truck and it rides great now.. might want to take that into consideration.

sounds like you have a bad (loose/frozen) u-loint on the rear driveshaft this will cause your vibration at highway speeds and more so on acceleration..
hope this helps

I had a similar problem and turned out to be a bad/siezed rear caliper which warped the hell out the rotor..couldnt really feel it in the brake pedal but it shook all the time, which of course turned into a bunch of other problems..but from what you described...mine wasnt as bad as yours..just a thought

Something that spins is out of balance. If you have allready checked the ovious- tires, then I agree with seniorfordtech, driveshaft u-joints. I used to have to change them yearly in my Bronco because of the bad angles from a lift kit.

Change em when they go bad. You will get vibrations, clunks when changing gears, you will know. I changed my Bronco yearly because I had one break on me. Had to drive home on the front axle after removing the rear driveshaft. The truck had a 4 inch suspension lift and I was rolling 35's on it. Bad angles with the drive shafts on a short whellbase truck.
