Vibration after rear axle rebuild

Nothing to do with the vibration issue, but anything including an open differential will spin the inside tire in a turn. Its the one with the least weight on it. Spinning the outside tire is what tells you the posi is working.

I know that I am late to the party, but I would have to say that there is a lot of play in the ring and pinion. I know of only a few rear ends that should have close to that much and they are of the big truck status (dana 110 and 135). I had a 9" reverse rotation that had quite a bit but nothing like that. I would like to see pictures of the pattern if you have some?

I've since had the rear rotors, including the parking brake surfaces, turned with no change in vibration. I'm at a loss to explain it. If I pay close attention, I can feel it at much lower speeds.
I think my next step will be to substitute one wheel at a time with the spare. I'm wondering if the dealer's wheel balancer might be defective. It feels exactly like a tire that is way out of balance.
