They sell one that you "cut" to size. The left/right will be large to T into the brake booster line, and the third fitting can be cut down to fit into your guage hose. In other words this T fitting is tapered, and can be cut to fit any vacuumn line diameter.
I havd mine tapped into the intale on my Nova, I could peg the needle at zero reving it. Vacuum gauge works like a throttle position sensor the lower you go the more open the throttle. at idle you should have max vacuume, at W.O.T. you should have zero. if it is working properly it will go down during acceleration, but will stabilize under static driving. set the cruise on a hilly road you'll see it move up and down with the hills.

That's what I said! Decreases under excelleration.

I know, I was trying to say it another way. the point i was trying to make is you'll pull vacuume at 2000 and 3000 and 4000 all about the same. when you'll see the drop in vacuume is when you are going from 2000 to 3000 ecpecially under a load. at an idle stopm it to fel floor for a second. you might see the needle Peg the bottom. there may not be a top peg....

yup you guessed it, i followed the 4x4 line almost all the way to the hub and used a t valve to install it, where exactly is this break thing. i have another t valve and im sure i can do it myself if i know where it is.

so is the 4x4 not working if it drops to 0 when turned on?

Yep. That's the brake booster vacuumn line. That's the one to "T' into.
