Installing HBS 2.5 Leveling Kit Tonight
I'll be installing my leveling kit tonight on my 2006 F150 Lariat 4x4. Sprayed the shock and other parts w/ PB Blaster a couple hours ago (hopefully it helps) I'll try and take some pictures along the way, but its gunna be learning process for me and my buddy who's assisting. I've found a decent youtube how-to plus the forum and instructions from HBS themselves. I only have a 12v Makita impact and think I have all the tools needed, if not I'll be making trips to Auto Zone along the way. Wish me luck!!
This is a before picture which doesn't look so good because it's in my driveway on an incline. But the truck isn't level, believe me.

Good luck with the install! I just did my 3" HBS back on labor day and love it it! Thankfully i also added an AAL kit, truck was bout .5" nose high. And good call with the pb blaster! i sprayed my stuff down on my 04 and i helped a little bit. i dont think the original owner never took any of that stuff off before lol.

How far north are ya. I'm around the Elmhurst area. The previous owner of this truck did take care of it, the inside was spotless, and only thing wrong when I went straight to Ford was the rear pinion seal was leaking and they changed the diff fluid all pretty normal for 79K miles. Is the AAL kit pretty easy to install as well? What kind of lift does it give in the rear?

Same here, truck was in perfect condition, the honda dealer i bought it from, replaced all the fluids. And had my mechanic check it out and not a thing wrong with it..... except a small dent in the front bumper lol. with 89k on her now.
The AAL can be easy. the hardest part we had was getting the center pins that hold the leaf pack together off. Since the pins kept spinning we ended up just cutting the nut with a zal saw. and it added bout 1.5" of lift in the rear, and adds bout 900ish lbs to the payload weight.
