Default Using a different ABS sensor

I need to change the ABS sensor in the diff of my 04 and I've run into a small issue. I picked up a sensor from Nappa for $36 bucks (the one with the blue connection in the pic) but the unit in my truck has a different end on it. No biggie I brought the unit back and proceeded to Ford to pick up an OEM unit (like in the other pic). So Ford guy tells me they have it in stock and it's $155! What a crock of **** but the truck is apart and I need it for the weekend.
What I'd like to do is pick up the Nappa part and change the connector on the truck to fit it. I know the part works on the F150 'cause I've seen it used on others. In the grand scheme of things a hall sensor isn't the most complicated sensor on a vehicle so I'm thinking the ABS module wouldn't even notice the difference. Anybody ever run into this on their truck? I sure as hell don't want to pay $155 and tax for a magnet wrapped in plastic but I need the truck for Saturday so ordering online won't get it here fast enough. Any ideas?

Sorry forgot my location wasn't filled out. Only have Nappa and Benson's in my area. Don't even think we have Oreilly's in Canada. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Can't really help you with your swap question, but I have a question. If you need the truck Saturday, why don't you just drive it? It's only ABS after all. Then you can order the correct part online.

That abs sensor is also a speed sensor. Speedometer acts erratically when it fails and shifting goes to hell too. Only way to reasonably drive it is to keep it in 2nd and drive slowly. Trying to get to the parts place after work today and get the cheaper sensor. Will try it and see what happens. Even if it doesn't work it'll be over $50 cheaper to buy it and order one online.
