If u plug it in to ur port in ur truck if it's locked to the old truck it will pop up saying the name of the file for the previous truck it was on. If it's unlocked it will give u options on what u are wanting to set up.

I talked to edge and they said if u try to start the programming process it will pop up saying it's set to the other truck. If that's the case it cost 99 bucks to get it unlocked online. That's what I'm gonna do

Obviously I'm no where near as versed as most of the guys on here. I'm just passing on info I've learned in the past week or so. So u can def get better advice from those guys. Good luck man let me know how it ends up.

I actually didn't even pay 99 for the edge. I traded a guy an old Mac laptop I bought for 50 bucks a few years back. So I figure paying 99 to get it unlocked and only paying a total of 149 is a pretty good deal.

Had no problems installing it I already love it ... I recommend it to anyone and I'm getting the best results on stage three... I'm getting 12mpg in the city but I'm running 37s and still trying to figure out the best settings it really picks up when I push it ...
