Okay, I'm glad you said that because I was thinking it yesterday.

OP, I think you should take the safe bet and replace your entire UCA here.

Honestly if you are running into that issue, your UCA is probably shot, and if it's shot, you have to wonder what else on there is gone or about to be.

I just finished the drivers side on my 2006, started with a worn lower ball joint. I pulled the hub off and my wheel bearing and upper control arm was bad. Then I pulled the shock it it was bad. Took me a whole day but I got bilsteins in there, a new wheel bearing and new UCA and lower ball joint.

I'll do the other side next week after I get back from a trip. I test drove it and even with one side done, it's much tighter and drives smoother.
