Upgrades That Require Tuning
Hey all,
Just got an '05 F150 SCrew 5.4 4x2. I would like to put an intake, exhaust (cat back), and 18" wheels.
My question is whether I should also get a tuner with all of that to let the computer know of the changes as well as program the new wheel/tire size. I know intakes and cat backs are generally no tune required, but I've heard of some sort of sensor going bad in the engine because of the reduced back-flow in aftermarket exhaust.
Now it could have been straight pipes and a sensor delete screwed it up, but I wanted to make sure.
Thanks for your help!
