would it be possible to install the console with the shifter in it? dont know how hard it would be to change the column shift to the console.

The shifter is an additional part of the console and is only part of the Lariat package, I think. That part can be purchased from Ford as can the shifter. Bring money.

How much was it?? I was thinking about doing the swap but I would rather have that space open rather then have a shifter there. I actually use that space more than I realize.

Gunslinger,

You should consider mounting one of these in your STX. This one is in my STX. This instrument cluster is for an FX4.

Hey Screwdriver, I have an '04 STX, how hard is it to change out the cluster to an FX4? Can it be done with basic tools, or is this something the factory can do?

Would love to change my center seat to a floor shifter and change over to that FX4 instrument cluster, that looks sweet.
