Default Uniball upper control arm. Fix?

Ok so i used to run a 6" rough country with a daystar 1" lift spacer which is 3/4" thick which with alot of math which i wrote in a thread on whether or not the spacer would work, i proved that it does work and i was running 37/1350 mud grapplers( freakin bigger than their measurements). i ran them with no rubbing with this setup. I had one issue. the upper control arm would hit the coil at only about an inch of downtravel. so pot holes and even dips in the road cause them to hit. so i took the spacer off and returned to a 6" on 35's. i would love to go back to 37's. my question is im going to run bilstein 5100 adjustable struts instead of the daystar spacer so if added uniball upper control arms would that give me another inch or so of droop travel? that way i wouldnt have arm to coil contact. Any input would be appreciated. i dont wanna drop change on those arms without hearing from someone who has ran them. Thanks.

Subbed. Been looking at these for a long time I'm interested in the answer from someone who's already dropped the coin

I would guess it would contact even more seeing that most uniball UCAs are boxed and even bigger in diameter than stock

But they claim an added inch of down travel due to the uniball. But if it still contacts how can they claim that even with the added angle capability

I always thought rough country's drop crossmember was 4" so 6" was pretty much the most you could go? Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Yes it would give you more travel (camburg 1.5" of droop, all others 1"). The camburg arm has the most caster change to correct the hitting problem you have. You wont really notice the ride difference tho.

Thanks buster096. And the rcx crossmember drop is 5 3/16" and the spacer is 5 15/16" so 3/4" spacer. Which gives an inch lift. And I posted all the other measurements in that other thread.
