Uncomfortable seats- Fixed at last!

Yes, the lines depict the space between the steering wheel and the seat. Not sure about newer year models, but at least on my 2006, the seat forces your upper back into a hunched shape, which can cause all sorts of upper back pain. My wife's 2012 passat does not force you into this hunched position and is much, much more comfortable.
Someone elsewhere noted that ford shaped these seats in this manner to keep the dummies from flying too high in a crash test. No idea if that's correct or not, but in any case, it's a dumb way to force someone to sit in my own dumb opinion. Crown vic, comfortable, lincoln town car, comfortable, passat, comfortable, BMW comfortable, mustang comfortable, F150 - POS seats (at least 2006).
