Default Turning an unfortunate incident into a positive situation

just joined but i have been a lurker on this forum for awhile for answers to my questions now i am posting something and wanting to know your feedback...

my B&C post and my passenger mirror in my f150 have a big dent in them i pulled most of the dent out now i am doing the body work and i was wondering has anyone painted there B post? I searched for forums and didnt find any threads where someone has.

What are your thoughts on this?

I am also going to two tone my mirrors white and black like the FX2 and FX4.

Here are a few pixs also

Photo #9 is a quick photoshop of what i want to do paint my B post and the top of my mirror

Photo #4 &5 is the damage to the B&C posts

There are 2 dark colored trucks in town with the chrome plated stickers on there B pliers and they look terrible. But paint might look better.
