Thanks for the advice Manuell i kinda figure the hassle would be substantial, i dont mind the trouble or the cash spent, mainly because it has some sentimental value to it but heres my swap ideas i have in mind: want to do a solid axle swap to keep the maintenance and driveline simple intend to keep it mostly stock 4wd parts. So if i need something i can more then likely find it in the junk yard. Lol i Love a challenge and unique things lol what can i say.

Lol, last time I had a butt pucker it was almost two years ago when my back end broke loose getting on a freeway.
Traffic was backed up and some drivers were getting off and back on the highway, they were moving fast so I pushed the gas as I came around the onramp, and spun completely around facing the wrong way after hitting the concrete divider.

My purpose for this truck is to be a bit of a rare 4wd gem, that i can use on and off road safely don't want to do hardcore wheeling with it just want something Ford didn't build at that time that i can take off-road if i need to or for fun when time and funds allow just figured this would make a fun and frustratingly rewarding project.

I had similar situation happen to me in the rain after some jackass driving a Honda Civic decided me and my wifes life were not important and cut us off in the rain on a sharp turn. Almost flipped our truck over! Luckily i am pretty seasoned at driving so were okay just scared the crap out of us..@Karphan
