IIRC, watch the airbag light as soon as you turn the key on. It should flash (something like 4 flashes then 2 flashes, which would be code 42).

You can follow the manual instructions, buy a seat belt extended, or just the male end of the buckle

Have fun, Brandonjr.

How many other issues on the truck are you ignoring? People are trying to help, and you're returning nothing but attitude. Good luck, kid, you're going to need it.

If you don't have airbags wouldn't you really want to wear your seatbelt?

I definitely would not want to hit the airbag without my Seatbelt on, and i definitely would not want to go over my steering wheel and through the windshield. Not wearing the Seatbelt is a lose lose situation, unless its still considered 'badass' to not wear one.
As for not having the cash for a repair, i can relate, but i think someone already mentioned that there is a recall for an airbag malfunction, check and see if your truck has had it done, if not, well there really isn't anymore reasons why not to have it done, just excuses.

Compare the percentage of fatalities in auto accidents.

A seat belt/air bag saved my life.

How do you know if you don't have the money? My wife's escape had an air bag light, it was as simple as cleaning the connector for it, like $5 for a can of electronic parts cleaner, pull it apart, spray it, put it back together and pull it back apart a few times then done...

If you don't have money to fix your truck, you prob don't have the money to maintain it, or insure it.. While I may have insurance, you will look stupid when you hit someone due to mechanical failure and their insurance company goes after you personally for the damages. Fix and take care of your **** or get off the roads!
