There's been a lot of talk about turbocharging one of these motors, but only one build, IIRC that actually came out of all the threads.

I agree with you man. I get tired of seeing these hot heads jumping down people's throats for a silly little mistake. Just move on man and ignore the thread. People come here for help or peaceful conversation.

a supercharger will be a lot easier.
For turbocharging you'll need:
turbo(s), custom manifolds to be able to link the 2 banks into one pipe (unless you go twins), injectors, intercooler, piping, pcm reflash or a tuner, external wastegate (if the turbo doesnt have an internal gate), bigger exhaust to help with flow, new intake to put on the turbo mouth, run only 91octatne. Lastly, depending on the current condition of your truck, you may need to upgrade the driveshaft and gears if you plan on actually making some power with that setup. You're looking at 2 or 3 grand for parts alone, plus installation with custom fab work that needs to be done. So the real question is, is all this worth the $$ to you?
