Here are pics of my 05 XL extended cab with a 2.5" leveling kit and 325/60/18. They measure out at 33.4/12.9/18". They rub just a touch when turning on the cab side of the fender.

I think that a 6" lift might be too much when running 33" tires. I just got these tires but when I need new ones, I may get 35s and add the 6" lift. But that is a ways off since I just got these tires.

If you are only wanting 33s, just get a leveling kit. If you want 35s, you can still just get a leveling kit. Although these trucks can look great lifted, there are tons of great looking trucks that are only leveled and running larger tires (which saves a lot of money). You should let us know if you plan to use factory wheels or a specific aftermarket wheel, also if you plan to off-road or use the lift for function.

Nobody likes body lifts. But a lot of people still do it. That's just a leveling kit, spacer and body lift. I would save your pennies for a cheap 4 or 6" suspension lift before getting that.

But if you are just running 33s, get a leveling kit. You can run up to 35s with a 2.5" leveling kit depending what size tire and wheel offset you have.
