Maybe someone should make this a sticky if enough respond to it but there are a lot of people who go to the stealership for non-warranty work when there are a lot of good independent shops out there I mean it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to work on these trucks so if you know a good and trustworthy independent shop, list it's name and general location so that others can check them out.

Mine are Acme Tire and Auto on Belding road, north of Grand Rapids, Mi. and Ed & Daves on Plainfield, also north of Grand Rapids

Billing Tire and Auto in Sparta, NC. The owner is the only person I trust workin on my truck. He done all the work on my powerstroke. With 250+k miles on it, it never burnt a drop of oil or left me stranded.

McDonough Tire in McDonough Ga.. These guys installed my level,nerd bars, tires and they also do oil changes on all 3 of my vehicles.. They are not out to rob your pockets and I've never had to question their work or double check behind them.. They are nice and friendly. My uncle has been using them for 15yrs with nothing but good things to say

I hate to see people pay 3 times the cost for parts at the stealership and you pay mechanic rates for tecs to do the work with no real incentive to do a good job.
