Yes from what I have been told sooner is alot better than later. I was told around the 25K mark was a good idea. I am going to replace mine at 5K.

I am suprised that they let you bring yuor own parts. ALOT of places wont do that. My shop is one of those. We make money of of parts as well as labor. Glad it worked out for you.

Got a call earlier and was told the truck was ready and was told that the mechanic to thank me for Seafoaming the engine before bringing it in. He said they came out pretty easy. My bill ended up being $325, even though they said they would do it for $370

I prepaid over the phone since I don't get off work until 8pm today. my brother said he would get it for me and drop it at my house...VIP

I'll take a picture of the plugs later...

That was all, but that's the price for the 5.4l engine in my area. I called 4 dealers before I chose who was going to do mine and that was the best price
I only chose to pay this because I didn't want the liability if a plug broke. I'll do my own tune ups from here, now that I have the Brisk plugs in it.

Yeah I hear ya when I worked at a Toyota dealer my buddy had to remove the right side head to remove two plugs after they broke off on a used truck. Yeah within the next 6,000 miles I am taking mine in to get the plugs changed before I hit 60,000 miles.
