Bang your fuel tank, it should start and if it does might be fuel pump going bad. Mine had the issue last year, replaced the fuel pump and no more issues

I don't see how a bad pump will prevent the engine from cranking. A bad chip in the key will prevent engine from starting but not from cranking. If it isn't the ignition switch I would try starting the truck in neutral instead of park. It may be the park switch in tranny.

I'm having the same problems! Only after a wet or rainy day...any luck figuring it out?

Rainy day would likely be FPDM. Just because if it is cracked, water gets into it, and it malfunctions.

I took it off, it had a little corrosion no holes or anything crazy...would that still be it if I could hold the key in the start position for like a good solid 5-7 seconds and it starts? Not all the time though...

Glad to hear you got it figured out!
Was the relay in the box under the hood? I had a similar problem in my 04 and this might help solve it.
