she went last night on a flat bed, got a call today, its the tb assembly...they replaced it....good thing it was at 35,600 miles huh...gotta go and pick it up

So what happened, did the TB lock up and kill the engine. Dont think I have ever seen a TB go bad with low miles before. Anyway glade you beat the warrenty cuttoff, buy a lottery ticket.

but the whole tb assembly was replaced, im assuming the motor **** the bed....

Is this a common problem with the 05 4.6L, because that is what I have.

idk, i have never heard of it....however ill be selling/keeping this tb as a spare latter on when i get my 70mm tb

ha going with alot of stuff....paided for by my deployment....like idk...a turbo, and the fun stuff that goes with that.....looking at having mmr build it...got a quote from em....they have an idea with 2v 4.6 motors, i mean they do have a 2000 hp 4.6 lying around.....hehe
