Truck quit running, blowing fuel pump fuses
So my truck just up and died today and i checked the fuse for the fuel pump and it was blown. When I replaced it it blew again, then I put a 25 amp in and it blew, then a 30 amp and it blew.
Has anyone had this problem and do you think it could just be a bad fuel pump or is it some crazy wiring issue that will cost me an arm and a leg to have them track down and fix??

Check this link out for what you will be looking for. I just posted this and it did'nt get much attention. Just went through the same thing on my friends truck and my module on mine is not any better than his only I have no driveability issues yet. Good luck finding a module if you are in a rust belt state. They are like gold and on back order. Call ford and let them know you are upset if this is your issue.

Please call Ford Coporate Customer Service and voice your concern with our trucks Fuel Pump Driver Module. The number is 1-800-392-3673. You will need your trucks VIN number and if you have already replaced the FPDM keep your reciept as if they do issue a recall you can be reimbursed if you can prove it has been changed already.
Called the number and notified them! This should be definate recall as its an obvious problem!!
