Default Truck om looking at

2004 fx4 with 84,000 miles has leveling kit 35" bfg km2s and toolbox, in dash DVD.. Now I've got some questions.. Truck had a programmer installed but he's not selling it with the truck.. I don't know anything about programmers do is there anything he could have done before taking it out that would have messed something up? Next is he has a wire running from a power outlet to what it looks like in the picture to behind the dash cover for the DVD player.. Anything to worry about there? Was it just a jimmy rigged idea or could it be bad?

The programmer doesnt hurt anything, more than likely he has set it all back to facotry settings. The wire looks to be some kind of phone charger or something, without seeing the other end. It is just tucked away and more than likely comes out at the bottom somewhere for him to plug in whatever that power plug is for.

I thought you had a newer truck? I dont know much about programmers and id ask him about the wire. Did he do the plugs yet???? If not that's a negotiating point for a lower price. Nice truck man!!! I love the look of the 04-08's.

A 5.4 with 35s and stock gearing will feel like a 4.6. Should be fine without the programmer. The speedometer may be off due to the larger tires without the programmer to correct the tire size. Looks like a nice truck.

Really? I figured the 5.4 would do good with them .. My 09 couldn't go past 70 on the interstate uphill with 35s
