Definitely a viable option. Let us know how if the fpdm changes anything. Likely culprit!

So I replaced the FPDM and I am still having the problem. The truck has also been dry for 1 week now. After the night after the car was the truck seemed to have power again. Then the rest of this week with the truck being completely dried out, it is still having the problem. Any other ideas? I am not getting a CEL or any codes from what I can see. Should I take it to autozone and see if there are any other codes not throwing CEL? Could it be throttle position sensor? Any other thoughts?

It wouldn't hurt to get the codes pulled. I would get them checked, then do a computer reset by unhooking the battery. I tend to unhook the battery after any replacement parts.

Thank you for the response! I just unhooked the battery and am going to try that as well as try and recalibrate the throttle as well. I will probably take it to AutoZone to get and codes checked or cleared.

Unhooking the battery will clear the codes, not sure if anything will show up now.

Oh good to know. Sorry, I am a newbie when it comes to this stuff. I also cleaned the maf sensor even though I did it not too long ago. I will update once I go through the relearn on the truck and throttle.

I didn't think you could relearn throttle.

I am probably stating it wrong, but there is another thread that talked about re calibrating the throttle because the computer over time limits the amount the throttle can open. Apparently it's done by turning key to on but don't start it, slowly depress the throttle and then let it go as fast as you can, turn the key to off and then do it 2 more times....

Check your oil, or consider just changing it entirely, in case any water got into it.
