Default Truck just feels underpowered

As of late ive been posting of all the issues ive had and fixes ive had on them and still my 5.4 lariet just feels underpowered. It really feels like that under 40mph its making like 50hp then once I get it up in rpm it takes off fine. But 0-40 is really bad. It goes for a plug change and tune up tomorrow so ill see if that helps but do you think something else could be going on. Im also planning a new exhaust for it, also do you think some bad cats could really bog it down like this, however it has no codes or lights and runs quiet and smooth

Ive been checking them out and they arnt glowing but they are freakin hot, you can see the heat coming off them. However when I fire it up on a cold morning I get lots of evaporation out the tailpipe and I feel good pressure coming out the pipe

Im running 305 55 20 nitto terra grapplers on my 04 screw with the 5.4 and it will spin those bad boys on dry pavement. I have no performace mods other than the Gotts mod so you should have way more power. Hope the tune up works!
