Default Truck dead in the middle of nowhere? Girl beside you? HERE'S THE FIX!

As some know from my previous post I just got my '07 5.4 running perfectly after 16 months of changing basically anything and everything. Anyway, we decide to head out to the trails through southern MB today. Stopped in a great place for a tailgate overlooking the valley. Lunch over we head out back on the trails. All of a sudden, dead. Power but no start. Edge can't connect to the PCM, etc etc. No signal to check forums etc. My son has his jeep behind me and ends up towing me 20km to the main road. 20km of "you shouldn't have bought a Ford", "we've spent so much money on this truck" blah blah blah. You see where this is going. $200 later I get towed 50km to the dealership and was going to leave it here for them to look at......fairly sure it was the PCM. Well it turns out having the girl beside me was the problem. Seems that using the fuse box as leverage when off-roading is a bad idea. The fix you ask? Save $200 and don't beg the girl to go when she initially says no.

Truck was bouncing around and she was pressing her feet against the passenger kick panel so hard she popped the #3 relay loose.

And what was the dealerships charge to diagnose that (loose #3 relay)?

Figured it out myself in their parking lot. Once I had signal for my phone it was pretty easy to search out the problem. The fuse was in just wasn't seated fully.

That belongs on a T-shirt. "We were bouncing so hard she popped my number 3 loose"................... Cost me $200 bucks
