Truck Bed Rust Repair
Unfortunately during spring bed cleaning today I noticed two rust holes and two bubbling spots in my bed. I'm wondering what the best course of action would be? I'm thinking it would be easiest to grind down the spots and then bondo over it. It's just the bed so if the final color isn't 100% it's not a big deal. The one hole looks like it could go down an inch or so, and obviously the rust will be spread farther than the hole, should I try to clean in deeper too? Will a wire wheel work or should I use one of those pads? Thanks!!

What part of the bed? If in the floor, weld in a patch panel. No bondo in the floor

Three in the floor, one in the side. I had thought about welding, I think I have a guy that can do it if that's the best choice. That would involve me cutting a square out and replacing it with a similar strength piece I assume.

That's why my dad and I did to my bed floor, I had some big ones covered up by a plastic bed liner. So we took the bed off and cut all the rust out and spot Welded new square patch panels that we made. Just used sheet metal and bent with pliers. Then we cleaned it up and covered it with a two part epoxy on both sides and painted it. Then undercoated
