Question Truck barely accelerates

For whatever reason about a week ago I was on my way home and stopped to get gas and when i left the gas station I gave it throttle and noticed my truck made some god awful misfire sounds and didnt hardly accelerate at all... It idles fine and will maintain speed down the highway with no apparent problem, but it takes me forever and a day to get up to highway speeds. This morning I tried to pass someone on the highway and it took me almost 1/4 mile to barely get around them. I brought it to a mechanic but it doesnt seem to be throwing any codes what so ever. Spark plugs only got about 10K miles on em and I've had to replace a couple coil packs in the last year, but they usually throw a code. Does anybody know what could cause this? Could it just be bad gas or is there something else I should look for.

How much fuel did you have when you stopped?

Sounds like you got some bad gas. How long ago was the fuel filter changed? I had a tank of bad gas years ago in my Toyota pickup. It spit, sputtered and bucked. I finally ran enough down to try some elsewhere and it solved the issue.

It was gas right? I've seen some diesel pumps that could cause an issue for people in a hurry.
If it was gas there is a number on the fuel pumps you can get and report it, it could give you some recourse if your truck ends up with damages.

Yeah it was gas, and I actually had the fuel filter changed just to see if that could be causing it, but no luck. And I'll definitely look into getting that number if a fresh tank of gas fixes the problem.

could be why it was throwing codes about my emissions being below threshold in bank 1 a few weeks ago.
