Truck alarm goes off in the middle of night for NO REASON

These are my key fobs. I have 4 of them, 2 of each. I was not aware you could have the stock one respond to the alarm. I use the 6 key fob in winter since it has a car starter & then I get the alarm feature but in summer when I use the regular key fob I lose the alarm feature.
How do you set it so I will still keep the alarm with the regular key fob? Also when I use the 6 key fob the horn is alot quieter when armed and honks again to let me know its armed, but when I use the stock key fob it only honks once and it is very loud! I would like it to be just as loud with my 6 key fob.
Sorry if I just confused you but let me know if you need me to elaborate more.
Thanks

Hey, I know that this thread is several years old, but my '04 alarm is going off in the middle of the night, and I have replaced the battery in the truck and remotes. The instructions you provided aren't working. When I press the button under the dash nothing happens. Do you have any suggestions?

You have the "factory" alarm? Did you always have it or just get the truck? Just trying to figure out a few things because I have an aftermarket alarm and I know the body control module goes to sleep... if the doorpins were used for detecting the door being opened, the body control module is known to ground the pins when it goes to sleep. Typically, you have to add diode's between the BCM and door pin then tie-in in the middle... also have to diode isolate each door (as always). However, if this is a new issue you've just recently had and have always had the alarm though, that's not likely the case.

Hey guys my alarm is somewhat acting up. During the daytime hours out of nowhere the alarm (horn) will quickly beep 4 times like someone hit it... then other times the alarm will actually sound continuously for no particular reason. Remind you my street is quiet and no one is near the truck because I can see it from my home office. The weather has been hot lately (over 101F) and luckily it doesn't happen at night, but i'm curious what i should look for. Here is what my alarm looks like...I have a blue push-button switch under the steering column and my keyfob is only 3 buttons. What alarm is this?
