Default Troyer Performane UD Pulley kit

I know this topic is beat to hell but iv done research and found mixed reviews.

Any way i have been looking at them for a while and finally bought them today.

Im sure they come with instructions, but i have some questions.

First i have a clutch fan, the guy with TP said i will not have an issue with over heating or my lights dimming, but has anyone had any experience with them?

Second, i will be installing the(i am mechanical inclined)so i shouldn't have a problem, but i have heard that i need to use new bolts for certain things but i dont know what?

Third will i have problems with the truck idling? and do i need to change shift points and what not.

and i have a 2004 5.4 f150 a hypertech tune, air aid, optima battery and everything on my sig.

Thanks in advance!!

Hey I installed these on my truck about 2 months ago. He lied the lights will dim in gear at a idle a little bit but no big deal. I haven't had any over heating at all, I did put there e fans in at the same time. Go to the parts store and rent a fan puller it will make the job very easy. The new bolt comes with it for the new damper. Make sure you put high temp silicon on the key way. I did add new exhaust e fans airade intake under drive pulleys all at the same time so not sure on performance increases just from them.

I have had troyer UD pulleys on for about a year now and not a single problem. My lights do not dim and I have Troyer E fans, in dash navi, 1000w amp pushing 2 10s, radar dector hot wired to the truck, and HID in both headlights and fogs.

With a clutch fan it will spin no different then stock.

Idle is perfect

Use the bolt that comes with to install.

Took me about 45 min to do the install

I love the fans very quiet. I had one relay stick till I tapes it. Now they work perfect with I would have put them in sooner.
