I didnt think so either. From Orlando to Brunswick on the way bak I avg 16.9.
On the way down to Florida I avg 17.2 mpg (slower avg speed of 56) from my house to Manning, SC. From Manning to Fort Pierce, FL with an incredible head wind I avg 13.6 MPg. (avg speed 66)
The truck was loaded up pretty good. Not bad for the weight in the truck.

This trip was over thanksgiving, we drove from sw missouri to denver and back and spent a day driving around estes park and the rocky mountain national park. There was a crazy cross wind the whole way across kansas both ways. Hand calculated I got 15.7 on the way out and 16.4 on the way home. There were five of us in my truck and the bed was full of all our stuff we took.
