Default trip/odometer not lighting up anymore who's fixed this?

I found a video on how to do it but it does not say how to get the first panel off. Says just to remove the 2 screws by the shins but after removing those its still held in place by clips or something. 2 screws in and I'm already stuck. Any advice? Part of me is thinking to just leave it be since all mine does is miles and trip.

I'm having a similar problem. Check in your owners manual at the fuse panel on the passenger floor board. On mine the cluster fuse does not blow but cruds up and looses a conection causing it no not light up or turn on at all. Once i clean the fuse or just replace it starts working again.

Try checking the fuse. Mine does the exact same. The odometer does not light up or even turn on, when i replace the fuse it works again.

Mine was just a dead bulb. I could see the numbers on the display but just barely in ideal lighting situations. I replaced it about 6 months ago. They are little tiny bulbs, I forget the size but there's about 7 of them that light up various parts of the cluster.

You are on the right track. Start with the two lower bolts that are way down there. The panels will still be clipped into place. You have to give them a tug to get them started and they pop off. As you remove pieces, work your way up and you will reveal more bolts.
