Default transmission specs and gearing options

This is a 3 part question. Does anyone know the specs of the 4R75E tranny (gear ratios)? I was considering putting 3.73 gears in my 06 with 265/70R17 tires. Does anyone run a similar setup? What rpms will I be at 60-65 MPH? I have 3.55's now with the 5.4.

i wouldnt change the gearing for such a minor change, i would go with a tuner for better tranny shifts, and those tires arent really much of a change to justify a gear change

If you go to a Ford dealership they can pull up an inventory of your truck by VIN listing everything that was put into your truck ask them nicley to print it for you. had it done the other, its a huge help.

Thanks, I have an edge evolution programmer and usually use the medium setting on it. I will check out the VIN number. I am curious though what size tire would need the next gear upgrade? In the future I might go with 33's or 35's. I have a leveling kit installed for clearance.

at least 35's or bigger, most dont regear till about 37's, you should be fine with 33's and that tuner even 35's would work
