Transmission Question
I was looking into a larger tire for factory 18's on a 2006 F-150 Super Crew Lariat 2-wd. The 265/60/R18 are the Factory size tire.
I was looking at 275/65/18. One shop says no proublem, and another says
it is tough to keep balanced and may ware funny with the larger width.
So then I thought O.K I can live with 265, but I would like to fill the wheel well a little better. This led to the question of would it affect the transimission or cause any issues other that Speedometer Reading?
Very confusing, I may just stick to the factory size and be done with it.
