I don't see how it helps because I can see a rise in transmission's temperature. It went from 160 F to 185 F. According to what people told me the biggest wear and tear is operating temperature. The higher the temperature the higher the wear and tear.

News to me. I tow my 17 ft bass boat all the time in OD. If it's not frequently coming in/out of OD, so don't see how its causing excessive wear...?
