nah, headache racks go between the bed and back glass, like a wall. ladder rack link below is what i would do with led lights bars all over it.

Gotcha. Yeah I'm not really sure about the ladder rack. It's not bad, but really not me.

if you like alot of lights check out my LED cubes mounted up between my hood and cowel. I havent seen another F150 on the road with these (at least here in Tennessee) .. I get compliments on them all the time.

heres the link for the mounts.

I have seen them in the forum. I will say I like them and would be great while out at night on the trails (lol I don't mud my truck, don't judge me (: ). You could also use them in snow storms while pulling Chevy trucks out. Lol all joking aside I do like them. What needs to be done to mount them, any cutting or trimming?

I have some too and I love them! No cutting or trimming required.
If you get them from Hanning LED I got mine for $60

man I like those too! BUT there is a little bit of trimming... I had to trim a small amount of the cowel where the mounts come from the engine compartment up through to the top of the hood. it was very minor trimming. they are very easy to mount, they use the factory bolt hole for the hood hinges. I did mine all by myself but it would have been a little easier with help. but totally possible for 1 person.
