This article supersedes TSB 6-22-7 to update the Issue Statement, vehicle model years and model line covered.
ISSUE:

Some 2005-2010 vehicles equipped with a 4R70/75E-W transmission may experience an un-commanded torque converter clutch (TCC) apply or TCC partial apply immediately after the 1-2 shift. This may result in the perception that the vehicle lacks power or that the transmission is up-shifting too early. Additional symptoms of uncommanded TCC apply when coming to a stop (before the 2-1 downshift is commanded), are engine stalling or lugging when engaging manual 2nd while at a stop and code P1742 may be present in continuous memory. However, the vehicle should operate normally in park, reverse, neutral and manual 1st gear.
ACTION:

Follow the Service Procedure for verification and repair.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
  1. Monitor (TCC %) solenoid command state - duty cycle and (TC SLIP ACT) torque converter clutch slippage - RPM, while in 2nd, 3rd or 4th gear with a TCC % reading 0.
    1. If TCC % = 0 and TC SLIP ACT = less than 20 RPM then inspect the number 7 check ball in the main control valve body for damage. Replace as required following the appropriate Workshop Manual (WSM) under Disassembly and Assembly of Subassemblies - Main Control Valve Body. (Figure 1)

      NOTE:THIS PROCEDURE IS PERFORMED IN 2ND GEAR AUTO (NOT MANUAL 2). MONITOR (TC SLIP ACT) AFTER THE POWERTRAIN (PCM) COMMANDS 2ND GEAR AND BEFORE THE VEHICLE (VSS) READS 35 MPH (56 KM/H).
    2. If you receive any other reading, this procedure does not apply; follow normal diagnostic procedures as outlined in the appropriate WSM.
      NOTE:IT IS NORMAL FOR THE PCM TO COMMAND 4TH GEAR AT SPEEDS AS LOW AS 19 MPH ( 30 KM/H) WITH LIGHT ACCELERATION WHEN THE THROTTLE POSITION IS LESS THEN 20%.

I just had a problem similar to this. As soon as my truck (05 Fx4 SCREW) would shift into high gear the truck felt like it would jerk/slip until my RPM's got a little higher. It would only happen when it shifted into high gear and I was speeding up or going up any size hill. Changed the spark plugs and it was fixed, for about 6 months. Started doing it again last month, so I changed the COP's and now its gone again. Hopefully for good!... So maybe it could be time for new spark plugs or COP's?

Update! I took my truck in Friday to the dealership where it was purchased new.
I really don't care for the place, father and two sons run it, no personality at all!
Any way, the son that runs service said oh we will have to check it out, so while they were checking it out I test drove a16 super crew with the 2.7 Eco boost and it was pretty impressive.
Then I test drove a16 extended cab XL with the chrome and power package and the 3.5 engine, not Eco boost, it wasn't bad either, but when you stepped on the gas there was a small delay, not on the Eco boost.
Any how they said they could not get the trans to slip but downloaded the latest software and I'll tell you it hasn't skipped since.
I've put about 150 miles on it and the shift points are different.
I don't know what else that software addressed but it runs smoother and has more power.
It cost me$70 but it was well worth it.

I noticed this said from first to second my truck does this same thing between 25 and 30 but it's not going into second it's going into OD would this still help

That's awesome news! The dealer has my truck right now too. It had a dent in the tailgate when I bought it so party of the deal was for them to repair it. They said it was going to take a week so they gave me a 15 King Ranch as a loaner! It has the 3.5l ecoboost which is awesome.
I did mention my issue to them about the tranny and he said he would ask the manager about it. Maybe I can get them to do the update as well.

Krack that is exactly what mine was doing now when I'm easing on the throttle the last shift isn't until 40 mph.
I may be wrong but seems like my gas milage may be better, I'll find out next fill up
