04 lariat(5.4), 200k on it. Noticed a small puddle of tranny fluid on the driveway yesterday. Climbed under and saw there was fluid spread around pretty good, and it was dripping off the front of the pan, but unable to pinpoint where it was originating from. Took it to my trusted guy who just called me back this morning informing me that a pump seal was gone, dipstick bushing was gone, and TC housing was leaking. Being sent to the tranny shop as we speak for a full drop, clean, and repair. He quoted me just north of $700 plus tax for the repair. Not horrible considering what tranny repairs can run, but still no fun. First tranny issue I've ever had on this one.

I get the signature 80km/h shudder on a slow acceleration that many of you guys get as well. I will let you know if this work affects that at all.
